We at paolo.interiors recognise our responsibility to protect the planet we love. We are committed to minimising the impact we have on the environment as a company, by working towards more sustainable ways of operating.

We acknowledge and promote the importance of making small changes to make a big difference.

Waste

• We are proud to run a paper free office, which means less paper waste.
• All our packaging is either reused, recycled or recyclable.
• We and our partners are committed to reduce the consumption of single-use plastics and recycle where possible.
• The water used for the production of most of our collection comes from water recycling systems. 

Carbon 

• We courier our parcels with the UK’s largest electric fleet of any major UK parcel operator, with almost 5,000 electric vans in service today.
• We post with Royal Mail, who has the lowest reported carbon emissions per parcel of any major UK delivery company.
• We run a carbon neutral office and aim to run a zero carbon office by 2030.
• Our manufacturers’ plants operate with a closed-cycle technology by recovering and reusing water, raw and waste materials and energy.
• We operate factories that share our commitment to the environment, have developed a clear path to zero emissions and off-set their carbon emissions. 
• We can calculate the carbon footprint of your orders, should you wish to off-set. 

Products

• Our wood collection is produced with timber from FSC®-certified forests.
• Timber acts as a carbon sink: through its lifecycle it absorbs and stores much more carbon than its production releases. 
• Our terrazzo is recycled and created with eco-friendly and repurposed  materials.
• Our solid surfaces are made using 6% to 20% of pre-consumer recycled materials and ingredients.
• Natural stone is the original green building material. It does not require other materials or resources to create it.
• Most of our man-made quartz is produced with plant-based resin and recycled materials. 
• Our ceramic tiles contain up to 14% of recycled materials. 
• We are always on the lookout for more environmentally friendly materials and are committed to bring them to our client’s attention.
