Origin: Minas Geraïs (Brazil).

Appearance: A basic grey-green colour with a natural cleft (riven), but relatively smooth surface.

Properties: This is a stratified stone, therefore the edges lay notched to some extent. It is also possible that the surface scales off after being cleaned a few times; this ends once the hard core of the stone has been reached. Colour variations may occur to some extent, even in a same batch. This natural stone is frost resistant.

Use: Due to its high wear resistance (class 4), this slate, once sealed, is suitable for internal and external uses, in both domestic and commercial environments with moderate and intensive traffic.

Formats: Tiles, slabs and cut-to-size.

Finishes: Natural cleft (riven) and honed.
