Accurately quarried and processed, Pietra Serena offers today a variety of selections for any budget, yet offering high performance and excellent physical-mechanical characteristics.
Used by the greatest artists in Florence since the Renaissance, Pietra Serena sandstone has always been a favourite with architects and craftsmen for its versatility. Today, the traditional craftsmanship of stonecutters have evolved and Pietra Serena is widely used by architects and designers in construction, as well as in restoration works, to create both contemporary and traditional environments.
For those external environments where budget is the key driver, Pietra Serena is now available in “lastrico”. The 3rd selection from the block, this new finish still offers the high performance and excellent physical-mechanical characteristics of the 1st and 2nd selection, but with the cost-effectiveness that comes with a less homogeneous colour and a little movement. Ideal for external applications, this good value for money material will transform outdoor spaces into elegant – and yet cost-effective – living areas.
