Appearance: Dark grey background with swirls of coral fossil and white or pink calcite veins.

Properties: Like most natural stone, colour variations and and movement occur: these are part of its beauty. It is not acid or frost resistant. It is recommended to seal it to extend its longevity.

Use: This british limestone is suitable for most internal applications, including cladding and flooring, surfaces and bespoke stonework within both domestic and public environments.During the latter half of the 20th century this stunning material was widely exported to South Africa, Hong Kong and the United States. Today it can be found in the bathrooms of the Hilton Hotel and in the foyer of the BT Tower in London.
